Lip fillers use a hyaluronic acid gel to add gentle definition, balance and hydration to the lips. Hyaluronic acid is a substance the body produces naturally, and the results are designed to look like your own lips on a good day, never overfilled. At Face Facts we take a measured approach, building subtle changes that suit your face rather than following a trend.
Lip filler is not right for everyone. If it is not the best option for you, we will tell you honestly at your consultation.
Every treatment at Face Facts is carried out by a qualified, registered nurse. Our founder, Barbara Foggo, is a registered nurse and independent nurse prescriber with more than thirty years of clinical experience, and Faye Wright is a nurse prescriber. That means your treatment is planned and performed by a medical professional who understands facial anatomy, assesses your suitability properly, and is trained to manage the rare occasions when something needs attention. Your aftercare is led by the same qualified person, never passed on.
Does it hurt?
We use a numbing cream, and the gels contain a local anaesthetic, so most people find it very manageable.
How long does it last?
This varies from person to person, usually several months. We will give you a realistic idea at your consultation.
Will it look obvious?
Our approach is subtle. We would rather do a little and build slowly than overfill.
What if I change my mind?
Hyaluronic acid fillers can usually be adjusted or dissolved. We will talk through all of this before you decide.
