Anti-wrinkle treatments

Anti-wrinkle treatments, sometimes called wrinkle relaxants, gently soften the fine lines that form with repeated expression, such as frown lines, forehead lines and lines around the eyes. They work by temporarily relaxing the small muscle movements that cause the skin to crease, so the skin appears smoother and softer. The aim is a refreshed, natural look, not a frozen one.
Anti-wrinkle treatments should only be planned and carried out by a suitably qualified medical professional, and at Face Facts they always are. Barbara Foggo and Faye Wright are both nurse prescribers with extensive clinical experience, which means the same clinician assesses you, plans your treatment, performs it, and leads your aftercare. Proper assessment matters here, because the right approach depends on understanding your muscles and your goals.
When will I see results?
Results build gradually, usually starting from around five days and developing over about two weeks.
Will I still look like me?
Yes. Our approach is measured, so you keep natural movement and expression.
How long does it last?
This varies from person to person. We will give you a realistic idea and plan reviews at your consultation.
Is it suitable for everyone?
No. Part of the consultation is checking it is right and safe for you. If it is not, we will tell you.
