Aesthetic nurse in Whitley Bay
Every treatment planned and performed by a qualified, registered nurse.
Every treatment planned and performed by a qualified, registered nurse.
Face Facts Aesthetics is a nurse-led clinic. That means the person planning and carrying out your treatment is a qualified, registered nurse, not a beautician or a technician working from a short course. It is a deliberate choice, and it shapes how we work: careful assessment, honest advice, and treatments performed by someone with genuine clinical training.
A registered nurse brings clinical training in anatomy, hygiene, assessment and managing the rare times something needs attention. Our founder, Barbara Foggo, is a registered nurse and independent nurse prescriber with over thirty years of clinical experience. Faye Wright is a nurse prescriber, and the wider team includes an experienced skin therapist and a warm front of house. When treatment is nurse-led, your safety and your results are looked after by the same qualified person from start to finish.
What does nurse-led actually mean?
A qualified, registered nurse assesses, plans and performs your treatment, and leads your aftercare.
Why does it matter who performs my treatment?
Because proper assessment and safe technique depend on real clinical training, and because things occasionally need managing by someone qualified to do so.
Do I need to know what treatment I want?
No. Many people come in unsure. We will talk it through and only suggest what genuinely suits you.
Is there any pressure to book?
No. Our approach is calm and consultation-led. If something is not right for you, we will say so.
